Admission Policies




A. Home-School Partnership

In enrolling their children in the school, parents have made Creston Academy their partner in education of their children. The school takes this as an expressed willingness of the parents and their children to work together in consonance with the school philosophy in the pursuit of the school's mission and abide by the school rules and regulations.

It is the school's duty to inform the parents and their children of the school's philosophy, mission, vision, and goals. It is the parents' duty to know these.

It is the school's duty to provide systematic and purposeful instruction. It is the parents' duty to provide a home environment conducive to learning.

It is the school's duty to provide systematic and purposeful evaluation and to communicate learning progress of students. It is the parents' duty to keep track of the progress of their children in school.

It is the schools' duty to inform the parents of meetings, programs, and other activities. It is the parents' duty to attend and participate.

It is the schools' duty to provide open channels of communication. It is the parents' duty to provide feedback (i.e., comments and suggestions) to schools' authorities.

B. Age Requirement

In determining the proper academic level in preschool, the age of the child is considered first. Age qualification for Kindergarten learners in public schools should be five (5) years old by June 1 of every school year (DepEd Order No. 16, s. 2015). However, the school may consider learners entering Kindergarten who will turn five (5) years old by the end of August.

Meanwhile, for schools commencing their school year in July, Kindergarten learners should be five years old by July 1 and the extension period shall be until Sept. 30.

For schools commencing their school year in August, Kindergarten Learners should be five years old by Aug. 1 and the extension period shall be until Oct. 31.

However, for the elementary and high school, grade qualification comes first. This means that an incoming student who has successfully completed First Year, for instance, will be admitted to Second Year, regardless of his age.

C. Required Documents to be Submitted

All student transferees are required to submit the following documents and to pass the evaluation exam prior to enrollment:

For New Students

Photocopy of PSA birth certificate

For incoming Grade 1, original Report Card, Early Childhood Development Checklist

For incoming Grade 2 to 10, original Report Card

Good Moral Certificate (except for preschool & incoming Grade 1)

Medical Certificate

Covid-19 Vaccine Card (if applicable)

Developmental Psychological Report (if necessary)

For Old Students

For incoming Grade 1, original Report Card, Early Childhood Development Checklist

For incoming Grade 2 to 10, original Report Card

For ESC Applicants

2 pcs 2x2 ID picture

PSA Birth Certificate (photocopy)

Grade 6 Report Card (original)

Proof of Income of Both Parents

Certificate of Employment / ITR

Certificate of Unemployment from the Mayor's Office

For Foreign Students

Special Study Permit or SSP

Photocopy of Birth or any other equivalent

Photocopy of Passport

Previous school records authenticated and translated in English by their respective embassies (if applicable)

E. Tuition Fees

Tuition may be paid in any of the following modes:

Cash Basis (with 5% disc. on tuition)
Tuition and other school fees for the entire school year (June to March are fully paid upon enrollment.

Semi-Annual Basis (with 2% disc. on tuition)
Tuition and other school fees for the first semester (June to October) are paid upon enrollment. Fees for the second semester (November to March) are paid on or before November 05.

Trimestral Basis (for preschool only)
Tuition and other school fees for the first trimester (June to August) are paid upon enrollment. Fees for the second trimester (September to November) and third trimester (December to March) are paid on or before September 05 and December 05, respectively.

Monthly Basis/Flexi plan (not applicable for preschool)
Tuition and other school fees for the whole school year divided by 10 will be the monthly payment, the fees for the month of the school year are paid upon enrollment. Fees for the remaining nine months are paid on or before every 5th of each month.

ESC Grantees
Effective S.Y. 2023-2024, the school has been approved as E S C (ESC) participating school and as such qualified incoming Grade 7 students are entitled to a government subsidy of P9,000
